what can i say, istanbul is wonderful, we visited the cistern, blue mosque, hagia sofia, topkapi palace, chora church, beylerbeyi palace,grand bazaar,galata bridge and the largest princes island, we had a fab time and would highly recommend istanbul. changing sterling is a problem, most shops and restuarants wont accept it. we would love to visit again and see the sights we didnt see due to restoration work and republic day some places were closed. i will download some photos ive taken but there is nearly 300 grr so will take a while
